Kuhuboto Ghakhu Students’ Union demands justice on Oct 26 incident

Kuhuboto Ghakhu Students’ Union (KGSU) while expressing deep dismay and shock at the demise of late Aboto Achumi Aboto Achumi son of Ghokiye Achumi, who succumbed to injured after being hit by a speeding government registered vehicle.


In a condemnation note, KGSU president, Mughalu B Yepthomi and general secretary, Kumugh N Yepthomi claimed that the government registered vehicle, Bolero (NL-10-C-0749) was operated by two unauthorised individuals, Inito Tuccu, son of late Toiho Tuccu, residing at Thilixu village, and Sumenron Odyuo, son of Nchumbemo Odyuo, additional secretary, department of municipal affairs, under whose name the vehicle was registered.


KGSU has demanded a just response from the authorities and ensure that a thorough and impartial investigation was carried out to deliver justice in accordance with the law. The union has also conveyed deepest sympathy and condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
