Late Er. Tokishe Sema laid to rest

The funeral service of late Er. Z.Tokishe Sema, Director Information and Public Relations was held at his private residence at Chekiye village on December 6. Late Er. Z.Tokishe breathed his last on December 5 in Dimapur.
People from all walks of life, gathered to pay homage to late Er. Z.Tokishe.
The body of late Tokishe was laid to rest at Chekiye Village cemetery.
Those who spoke at the funeral service included Addl. Director, IPR Dzuvinuo Theunuo, Sumi community HBS, Ghukhuyi Village, Ghukhuyi Village Union Dimapur, Kohima Sumi Officer Union, SOUN, SAVE Club, Kibami kin Union, Rotary club Kohima, Mount Olive College Daklane Kohima, Lower Bayavu youth society Kohima, Old Boys Association Sainik school Imphal, Sumi officers union Kohima and Dimapur and others.
Chief minister, Neiphiu Rio and chief secretary, J. Alam conveyed condolences while the condolence message of advisor IPR and VGs S. Keoshu Yimkhiung was read by the chairperson, where Keoshu described late. Er. Tokishe as a fine gentleman who worked for the people and the department with dedication and zeal.
Messages were also delivered from family members.
Late Er. Z Tokishe Sema was born on November 27, 1968 and did his schooling from Highland English School Satkha, till class Vl; Sainik school Imphal- batch of 1979; Salem College of Engineering & Technology, Tamil Nadu – BE( Electronics) batch of 1986.
He entered DIPR as Technical Executive on October 15, 1990. He also served as president Rotary Club, 2007-2008, 2017-2018; Governing Board Member Mount Olive College, Kohima-2019 till date; Sumi Officer Union Kohima, president 2019- 2020; Ghukhuyi Union Kohima, Banker/ Treasurer, 2016- 2020; Satakha Welfare Society -2012 till date; High School/ Bayavu/ Sefozou Sumi Community Banker- 2018 till date; Founder President Kibami Welfare Society Kohima 2012-2018. He left behind his wife, three sons and two daughters.
Rio, Tovihoto condole: Chief minister, Neiphiu Rio said he was saddened on the untimely demise of Er. Tokishe Sema, director IPR on December 5 after a brief illness.
Rio in a condolence message to Kitoshi Zhimo wife of late Tokishe, described him (Tokishe) as a proficient and competent officer under whose directorship, the department has seen a lot of improvement in the right direction. In his demise, the department and the state has lost a promising officer, and that his contribution in all fields will be fondly remembered, Rio said. The chief minister on behalf of the government, conveyed deepest condolences and prayed that the departed soul rest in peace.
Advisor of Power, H. Tovihoto Ayemi has expressed grief on the untimely demise of director IPR, Er. Z. Tokisje Sema on December 5.
In a condolence note, Tovihoto described late Tokishe as an efficient bureaucrat and played a pivotal role in uplifting the department. In his passing away, the Nagas have lost a dynamic bureaucrat, the advisor said and extended condolences to the members of the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
KSOK: Kohima Sümi Officers’ Kuqhakulu (KSOK) has expressed shock on the untimely demise of its former president and advisor and director, IPR Er. Z. Tokishe Sema on December 5.
KSOK said that late Sema served as advisor of KSOK till November 29, 2022 and was a bonafide members till his last breadth. KSOK conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
