Lt Gen Sahi next GOC of 3 Corps

Lieutenant General HS Sahi took charge as the GOC 3 Corps based at Rangapahar, Dimapur from outgoing GoC Lt. Gen. RC Tiwari on Sunday. Lt. Gen Tiwari was appointed as GOC 3 Corps in March 2022. He will take charge as GOC Uttar Bharat Area, Bareilly (UP).
Lt Gen Sahi, from the Rajput regiment, was earlier posted at the Army Headquarters and also held several prestigious commands including GoC Kilo Force, Jammu & Kashmir.
In a tweet, PRO (Defence) said that Lt. Gen Sahi, on assuming command, “paid tribute to the bravehearts & exhorted all ranks to relentlessly work towards enhancing the operational effectiveness of the formation.”
