Mahila Band appeals for vote

The Nagaland Police 15th (IR) Mahila Battalion Band, who has progressed to the semi-final at the “India’s Got Talent” Season 10 aired on Sunday last at the Sony Entertainment Television, has appealed to the citizens for votes as votes are crucial to decide their triumph at one of India’s biggest reality shows “India’s Got Talent” Season 10.


Renowned for their outstanding singing and undying passion, “Mahila Band” on Saturday’s telecast left everyone spellbound with their melodious rendition of classic Bollywood songs, “Kaise Paheli” and “Ajeeb Daastan”. On Saturday, the band wore their colourful traditional attires of their respective tribes which add another beauty besides their mesmerizing performance.


The band has earned four golden buzzers from judge rapper, Badshah and one golden buzzer from Kirron Kher for their spectacular performances. On Saturday, it was a disappointing moment for Farhan as he was eliminated from the top 7 (semi-finalists).

Now, there are six who still stand for the next round to vie for the coveted title. The six remaining are: Nagaland Police 15th (IR) Mahila Band, Zero Degree, ART, Abujamad, Golden Girls and Raga Fusion.


The present members are: Hav’ R. Shoyanla (acoustic & backing vocal); Hav’ Tonchingsangla (bassist); C/N Sashitsungla (guitarist); C/N Inaholi (rhythm & backing vocal); C/N Wetsolo-ü Lomi (keys); C/N Tolito Shohe (vocalist); NCE Nokmalemla (vocalist); C/N Sanenla (tamporing); C/N Epfutsutshou (keys-standby) and ABSI Ng. Saka Band I/C (Guide).


The band members have appealed to the citizens for their continued support and make them win the prestigious title by voting for the band. The voting line opens on Sunday from 9:30 pm onwards where voters can vote by downloading Sony Liv App from Play store through their mobile phones.
