Make Pfütsero a learning centre of excellence: Kronu

Minister of Planning & Coordination, Land Revenue & Parliamentary Affairs, Neiba Kronu urged upon the people and stakeholders of Pfütsero town to work collectively, in order to make Pfütsero a learning centre of excellence.
Speaking as guest speaker at the silver jubilee celebration of Baptist School Pfütsero, Phek, on Friday, Kronu lauded the school on achieving 100% pass percentage in the last three HSLC examinations.
While exhorting the students, he advised them to trust in God since they may be brilliant but without God, they would not succeed in life.
He instructed the students to minimise the use of mobile phones and avoid letting technology take control over them.
“Modern gadgets are useful but they also have the potential to spoil the person if they do not utilise them efficiently and in timely manner”, he stated.
Kronu encouraged the students to have a vision and to stay focused on what they want to do.
Pointing out that there was ample supply of jobs around the world for those who are sincere, he urged upon the students not to worry over getting jobs since the world was looking for sincere people who possessed the quality to work hard, especially in the corporate sector.
Earlier, delivering the school report, headmistress Kivi Sakhrie informed that Baptist School Pfütsero was established in 1997 and at present, a total of 619 students from pre-school to Class X have been enrolled.
Earlier, a welcome address was delivered by Mikha Kenye while Rev Dr. Neingupe Chiero released the jubilee souvenir.
