MBC prays for peace in Manipur

Meitei Baptist Church (MBC) Chumoukedima organised a special prayer programme on Sunday for peace and harmony in Manipur.
In a press release, MBC said the church was deeply pained to see the loss of innocent life and homeless people.
It has appealed all the communities and churches in the region to extend co-operation in prayer to bring back to normalcy in Manipur.
Further, MBC has appeal people not to spread any news, fake news or any information or comments through social media that could create hatred out of emotion.
Dr. Sukhato appeals: MLA of 13 Pughoboto A/C, Dr. Sukhato A. Sema has appreciated state chief minister and deputy chief minister for arranging transportation and security to the students from Nagaland stranded in violence hit Manipur.
However, Dr. Sukhato appealed to the concerned authority to ensure that not a single citizen of Nagaland was left behind.
Maintaining that many of the Naga people were engaged in business activities, teaching and missionary works even in the remotest and farthest part of Manipur, Dr. Sukhato suggested that the evacuation process should not be limited to Imphal alone but should be carried out in other parts of Manipur state.
Further, the MLA appealed to the warring parties to maintain maximum restraint.
