Organizing committee for the commemoration of Phek district’s 50th anniversary held a review meeting under the chairmanship of DC Phek, Kumar Ramnikant, who is also the convener of the Planning & Organising Committee.
A DIPR informed that the meeting was held at the DC’s conference hall in Phek on August 25.
At the meeting, the deliberations focused on the tasks assigned to various committees responsible for the upcoming celebration scheduled for December 21, 2023, at Phek Headquarters.
Financial matters were also extensively discussed, with conveners and co-conveners of different committees providing detailed briefings to ensure the successful execution of the event.
Dignitaries including president of Chakhesang Public Organization (CPO), Vezuhu Keyho; president of Chakeshang Mother’s Association, Zhonelu Tunyi; and former Speaker of Nagaland Legislative Assembly, Z. Lohe, attended the meeting and shared their motivational insights. EAC Phek Headquarters, C. Tsalimse Sangtam delivered closing remarks.
