Minister, Rural Development (RD), Metsubo Jamir, while underscoring the importance of monitoring attendance, said Deputy Commissioners (DCs) and Additional Deputy Commissioners (ADCs) of respective districts would now “control” the leave and attendance of all department district offices which will then be tabled in the District Planning and Development Boards (DPDBs).
A press release by RD publicity cell informed that the minister, while addressing Project Directors (PDs) and Block Development Officers (BDOs) Conference 2023 at RD Conference Hall, Saturday, urged them to be in their place of postings regularly.
The minister also called for strict implementation of attendance during meetings and reiterated that any meeting called by the department has to be attended by all officers concerned because it was only during such meeting that issues could be discussed and deliberated and important information could be shared.
Metsubo also reviewed and discussed overall districts presentation on various RD programmes and district achievement and status report presentation.
