Mishra holds meeting with CSOs and Church leaders

Government of India’s representative for Naga political talks, AK Mishra on Wednesday held meetings with church leaders and civil society organizations at Police complex Chümoukedima.
Those from the CSOs who met Mishra said that the meeting was “positive and fruitful”. “We had a very positive meeting and shared our views on the Naga issue,” a person privy to the meeting said.
Later, Mishra also met the Nagaland Joint Christian Forum (NJCF) leaders led by its chairman Rev. Dr. Z Keyho, who is also the general secretary of the Nagaland Baptist Churches Council (NBCC).
On Thursday, Mishra is scheduled to meet a group of NSCN (I-M) leaders and on Friday and Saturday, he would be meeting the collective leadership led by its chief negotiator Th. Muivah. The meeting with the Working Committee of the NNPGs is also scheduled to be held on Thursday.
Meanwhile, a team of NSCN (I-M) leaders left for Delhi Wednesday to meet Home ministry officials in connection with the review of the cease-fire agreement.
