Miss Northeast contestants arrive Kohima

The 15 contestants for the upcoming Miss Northeast 2022 have arrived Kohima on Wednesday evening and for the remaining few days, they will undergo various grooming sessions.
The event is initiated by North East Beauty Pageant Organisation (NEBPO) and presented by Beauty and Aesthetics Society of Nagaland (BASN) in collaboration with the government of Nagaland.
The 15 contestants are the winners and first runners-up of the eight Northeastern States including Manipur, Assam, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Mizoram and Nagaland.
After arriving in Kohima, the contestants were received by BASN members and are now holding up at Hotel Vivor.
The grand finale would be held on November 3 at State Cultural Hall, Kohima.
During the grooming session the contestants will be addressed by renown resource persons such as poet, academician, writer and educator, Theyiesinuo Keditsu (PhD), an advocate for revival of indigenous Naga textiles; super model Ketholeno Kense Vihienuo and celebrity dentist and well-known pageant smile expert such as Femina Miss India, Dr. Sagar J. Abichandani.
A charity event to support Children’s home has also been organised on October 29 at the main road near Post Office and visits to various places across the state.
