Mock drill conduced in Tuensang

As part of joint exercise, personnel of NDRF and SDRF carried out rescue operation exercise at old DC’s office complex, Tuensang on March 22.
According to DIPR report, the mock drill on disaster was organized by the DDMA.
Debriefing on the mock drill, SP Tuensang, Vishal Chauhan appreciated the team effort of NDRF in demonstrating the evacuation and rescue mission from a high rise building for which he also encouraged the SDRF team to be confident in such missions.
DC Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant also advised the teams for preparedness exercises and to be equipped to tackle the situations of disasters of any magnitude. He encouraged the SDRF team to be well prepared so that if disasters hit the district, the situation can be handled.
NDRF commander also mentioned on the importance of including NCC and Bharat Scouts & and Guides personnel in such exercises.
