Mongsenbai emerged as the champions by defeating Salangtem team in the final match of the second edition of the 27 Mokokchung Town A/C Youth Organisation (NDPP) football tournament on Friday.
Advocate Imchayanger Pongen, PS to minister Metsubo, graced the final match as special guest. He encouraged the player to compete and excel in the days to come.
Meanwhile, president of 27 Mokokchung Town AC Youth Organisation (NDPP), Imliyanger acknowledged all the participating teams for making the tournament a success. He thanked the minister of Rural Development, Metsubo Jamir for gracing the tournament as special guest and also Nagaland Mineral and Mines for sponsoring the whole tournament.
