Sümi Hoho (SH), Western Sümi Totimi Hoho (WSTH) and deputy chief minister, T.R. Zeliang have expressed sadness on the sudden demise of Zheshito Swu, Akükau (G.B.) of Kiyevi village and former president of Western Sümi Hoho.
SH in a condolence note, described late Zheshito as an upright, courageous and dynamic leader who worked tirelessly for the people.
The hoho said his demise has left a big vacuum in the society which will be hard to fill and his contributions for the people will always remained.
SH prayed that the Almighty God grants solace to the bereaved family and departed soul rest in peace.
WSTH: Western Sümi Totimi Hoho (WSTH) in a condolence note described late Zheshito Swu as a leader who exhibited humility, and was an egalitarian who sincerely stood and contributed for the society and for women folks in particular.
As an upright leader, he wholeheartedly rendered his service for the community and his untimely death has created a void in the society but his great deeds and sacrifices shall forever be remembered.
WSTH extended condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
T.R. Zeliang: Deputy chief minister, T.R. Zeliang in a condolence message to Satoli Swu wife of late Zheshito Swu, recalled his acquaintance with Zheshito and cherished his friendship. Zeliang said late Zheshito was kind, compassionate and charismatic personality and his untimely demise was a great loss for the Sumi community in particular and Nagas in general.
His immense contribution to the growth of society will remain as his legacy for all times to come, Zeliang said. The deputy chief minister further conveyed condolences and prayed for the departed soul rest in enteral peace.
