Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Balyan launched video on women and child health under BBBP Peren on September 16. The Minister was accompanied by the director of Fisheries & Aquatic Resources and director of Animal Husbandry & Dairying, government of Nagaland.
A DIRP report informed that at the meeting, departmental PowerPoint presentation was given by Chief Veterinary Officer, District Fishery Officer, District Agriculture Officer and District Horticulture Officer.
In his interactive session with the Heads of Offices of Agriculture & Allied departments, Dr. Sanjeev appreciated the informative powerpoint presentation by various departments. He also took a detailed note of the activities and programmes implemented in the district and urged the concerned department to address him in the event of any problems or requirements related to their departments.
Earlier, Deputy Commissioner Peren, Vineet Kumar welcomed the Minister of State and presented a brief overview of the district. Later after the meeting, Dr. Sanjeev also visited Huriangbo Kaurinta, Fish Farm and College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry at Jalukie.
