MSME schemes should not go wasted, says APC

Agriculture Production Commissioner (APC) Nagaland, Y Kikheto Sema on Monday, stated that there were several schemes and projects under the Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME).
In this regard, he stressed that Naga entrepreneurs should avail the schemes and not let them go wasted.
According to a DIPR report, APC while addressing the meeting with Agri and Allied officials with regard to a workshop scheduled to be held on October 7, stated that the workshop is being organised especially for availing MSME schemes.
He said the workshop would be conducted by MSME officials and successful entrepreneurs where a platform would be provided to “genuine Naga entrepreneurs”.
Kikheto also informed that since last year, the chief minister desired to organise a workshop for entrepreneurs.
In this regard, he said that a proposal was sent to the ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises, New Delhi.
At the meeting, work distribution was assigned to the concerned departments to arrange logistics for smooth conduct of the workshop.
Mo, MSME joint secretary, Mercy Epao and Agriculture Production Commissioner Nagaland will be addressing the inaugural session, followed by technical sessions.
