Naga wrestlers to represent India

Naga wrestlers, Keduovilie Zumu and Nlumrai has been selected to represent India at the VI International Festival “Pearl of Kyrgyzstan” 2022 from June 15 to July 3, 2022, to be held at Issyk-Kul region, Issyk-Kul district, Chon-Sary-Oy village in Kyrgyzstan 2022.
The duo would be participating in the Belt Wrestling Alysh sport which would be conducted by the judiciary board approved by the Alysh Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic. Both have been selected by All India Traditional Wrestling and Pankration Federation (AITWPF) to be part of the Indian Belt Wrestling Alysh team.
Nlumrai would be participating in the -80 Kg men while Keduovilie would be in the +80 Kg men. After receiving the invitation from AITWPF, Naga Wrestling Association president, Dr. Hiabe Zeliang, had earlier through a letter, given the consent to let the two players participate in the upcoming event and also wished them the best in their endeavours.
