MD Pediatrics, MRCPCH consultant Pediatric Critical Care, CISHR Hospital Dimapur, Dr. R Wonashi Tsanglao, informed that the first-of-its-kind service in Nagaland, is an initiative of the Pediatric critical care unit of CIHSR Referral Hospital to carry out the transfer of critically ill children from PHCs, CHCs, and any health care facilities in and around Dimapur to Pediatric/ Neonatal intensive care unit within Dimapur.

The service will be available 24/7 and can be contacted at 03862-242555 / 6009552407.

Time-critical cases (e.g. head injury, limb ischemia) may have to be transported by the referring team themselves.
