Nagaland: Jacob Zhimomi inaugurates NLCPR Project in Aboi

Minister, PHED Nagaland, Jacob Zhimomi on Thursday inaugurated Non-Lapsable Central Pool Resources (NLCPR) funded by the Government of India, ministry of DoNER sponsored water supply for Aboi HQ and Longching HQ in Mon.
Speaking at the inauguration programme, Zhimomi, expressed appreciation to be present during the joyful occasion and said that Mon was fortunate to receive this project. “Water is an essential medicine in our daily life and people of Aboi and Longching will be cut short from hours to minute spending valuable time in fetching water from hills and slopes”, he added. Delving on Nagas unity, the minister urged the eastern Naga people to maintain unity and oneness for the greater good of the state.
The guest of honour, MLA, 47 A/C Aboi, Eshak Konyak, expressed his appreciation to the minister, PHED and his department, chief minister of Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio and his government and the PHED department, HOD, principal secretary, chief engineer and officers of PHED who brought forth this milestone in Aboi, Mon. The technical report was presented by chief engineer and HOD, PHED Nagaland, Repangyanba Longkumer, as follows: Estimated cost: Rs. 965,98 lakhs, funding by Government of India, Ministry of DoNER and State Government (90:10).
Pastor of Aboi Town Baptist Church, Rev. Yeanphong, dedicated the newly constructed NLCPR Project.
The programme was chaired by superintending engineer PHED, Dimapur Circle, Gwatilo Tep, welcome address was delivered by ADC Aboi, Phuleshe K Yepthomi where he appreciated the work done by Eshak, MLA and minister for PHED, Jacob Zhimomi for fulfilling the desire and need of the public of Aboi and Longching HQ. The program was graced with a melodious song by Kheyn Konyak. Short speeches were delivered by president KU, Aboi unit, Shahang Konyak and Principal Secretary PHED, E. Mhonbemo Patton while vote of thanks was delivered by executive engineer PHED, Mon, Lutho Katiry.
