Nagaland: NPP Kohima district unit holds consultative meet

\National People’s Party (NPP), Kohima district unit held a consultative meeting & picnic at Kisama, on October 24.
In a press release, NPP Nagaland state stated that in the keynote address, NPP Nagaland state president, Dr. Andrew Ahoto Sema acknowledged the expansion of NPP in Kohima under the leadership of Kohima district convenor, Dr. Keviseto Kintso.
He challenged every rank and file of the party to bring positive transformation in the state and opined that the word “change” had now become redundant.
Dr. Andrew stated that real change was a distant dream and that the vision of NPP, according to him, was not to bring change, but to bring a rapid transformation in every sphere of the Naga society.
“What Nagas need the most at this moment are good and upright leaders”, he stated.
Reiterating that all the political parties were good, each with their own set of visions and manifestoes, he pointed out that the only thing that set them apart from each other were the quality of their leaders and members.
NPP Kohima district convenor & working president of state NPYF, Dr. Keviseto Kintso welcomed new members which included social and political influencers at respective wards and colonies of Kohima town.
Other speakers at the meeting included NPP Kohima vice president Dr. Ketholezo, NPP Kohima General secretary Er. Meshenlo Kath and NPYF Kohima president Kelengoto Soleho.
The meeting was chaired by Dr. Keviseto Kintso, invocation and welcome address were delivered by (Org), NPYF Kohima general secretary Sedevilie while Er. Meshenlo Kath shared his journey and presented a song.
Later, vote of thanks was proposed by general secretary (IPR), NPYF Kohima, Kaqheto. The meeting & picnic was attended by NPP state team officials and district frontal bodies including women and youth wings.
