Nagaland: Regional sports of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Tinsukia held in Dimapur

The 51st regional sports meet of the Kendriya Vidyalaya, Tinsukia region was organized at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sewak Project, Dimapur from August 2 to 4 for boys U-14, U-17 and U-19 category for Kho-Kho Under- 14, 17 and 19.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by GB Sachu Colony, Japan Sachu as the chief guest. Oath taking ceremony and opening of sports meet was declared open by the chief guest. Students of K V Dimapur presented mesmerizing cultural programme in the inaugural ceremony.
After a very difficult time of almost two and a half years due to Covid-19, it was really a welcome initiative taken by the KVS under Tinsukia region conducting such an event at KV Dimapur. Winners of the three days event will be representing KVS, Tinsukia region in the national level.
In the closing ceremony, the occasion was graced by Col. SS. Nehra as the chief guest. Nehra also gave away the medals and certificate to winners.
Valedictory function was attended by all the escorts teachers, officials, students and staff of KV Dimapur. The vote of thanks was proposed by the venue principal MH Shimray.
