Sendenyu Youth Organization (SYO) and Sendenyu Lojvü Students’ Union (SLSU) on August 6 conducted a combined social work at Sendenyu Wild Life Biodiversity.
In a press release, SLSU media cell informed that 44 members with executives, GBs and forest guards took part in clearing the trekking route from the biodiversity gate to Parashen.
The media cell said Sendenyu village have been conserving the area for more than 22 years by strictly prohibiting hunting, fishing, and deforestation inside the protected area as well as the entire village jurisdiction.
In this regard, SYO and SLSU have cautioned any individual from the village or outside of the village violating the laws would be penalised and dealt as per Wildlife Protection Act, 1972.
Meanwhile, SYO and SLSU have sought cooperation from every right-thinking citizen, from the community, and the neighbouring villages to continue their support in the effort to protect and preserve.
