Nagaland successfully holds first NSSB exam

Nagaland Staff Selection Board (NSSB) conducted its first exam Friday successfully.
When contacted, board’s secretary-cum-controller of exams B Henok Buchem informed Nagaland Post that the exam held in 111 exam centres across the State barring Noklak, Shamator and Nuiland went off well.
He said candidates opting for technical posts would appear for the exam at Kohima and Dimapur on November 12.
Meanwhile, massive traffic jams were witnessed at the State Capital from morning till late in the evening due to the exam,
Altogether 50,000 candidates have applied for 600 Grade III posts advertised by NSSB.
Though there were reports of discrepancies in admit cards due to technical issues, like erroneous data, wrong name of candidate, father/mother’s name etc. the NSSB secretary issued a notice informing all centre supervisors to allow candidates to sit for the exam if the roll number in admit card tallies with the roll number in attendance sheet.
