Minister for PWD (Housing & Mechanical), Tongpang Ozüküm on Monday, asked party members to address the needs of people in the area, by creating awareness on centrally sponsored schemes (CSS) such as Bharat Aysuhman Card, chief minister medical insurance scheme, PM kisan card and others.
In a press release, PS to the minister informed that Tongpang was speaking at the week-long tour of his constituency, 24 Angetyongpang at Longkong village.
In his speech, the minister reposed faith in the NDPP-BJP alliance and claimed that the central government under BJP “understands the pulse of our people” and looked forward to provide a stable governance by entering alliance with NDPP.
He asked newly elected members to work hard for success of the party.
The press release informed that Tongpang was visiting all the 12 units after the merger of 24 Angetyongpang A/C independent party with NDPP under his constituency. He was accompanied by members from NDPP Angetyongpang A/C under NDPP Mokokchung region.
The minister also interacted with council leaders of Chuchuyimlang town, Salulemang village, Chakpa village, Longmisa village and Longkong village.
