Nagaland women cabinet minister Salhoutuonuo Kruse holds thanksgiving programme at Kiruphema

Salhoutuonuo Kruse, one of the two first women legislators, who has been inducted as the first woman cabinet minister, held thanksgiving programme at Kiruphema ground from Peducha on Tuesday.
Kruse was elected from 8 Western Angami Assembly Constituency and has been allotted as minister for Women Resource Development & Horticulture.
Addressing the thanksgiving programme, Kruse expressed gratitude to everyone for their support, and the leadership of NDPP party led by chief minister Neiphiu Rio, president Chingwang Konyak and secretary general Abu Metha for their constant support and allotting her the cabinet status.
She also thanked the NPF and BJP of 8th Western Angami A/C for the continuous support. Kruse also acknowledged the citizens for electing her the first woman from 8th Western Angami Assembly Constituency and shared her visions and appealed to the citizens to work together as a team to acheive the vision. Earlier, the programme was chaired by Kuobou Mezhünyü, Working President 8th Western Angami A/C and invocation by Vileto Vielie, pastor Kiruphema Baptist Church.
Short speeches were delivered by Khrielievi Chüsi, campaign director, Ali Tungoe, women A/C president, Aleto Kruse, youth A/C president, Kepelhoutuo Chüsi, president Western Angami Public Organisation, Vilazosie Punyü, head GB Khonoma village and Kechangulie Kense, general secretary NDPP Kohima Region.
Welcome address was delivered by Mhiesilhoukho Yalie, president 8th Western Angami A/C, and special song was presented by the Vocal Band and tribute from Nise Meruno.
