Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party 5 Ghaspani-II holds coordination meet

The executive members of Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) 5 Ghaspani-II assembly constituency held a coordination meeting at the residence of advisor for Excise & Minority Affairs, Zhaleo Rio, on July 4 at Sovima.
In a press release, NDPP 5 Ghaspani-II media secretary, Thejangukho Yalietsu informed that while addressing the meeting, Zhaleo said NDPP was a “people friendly” party, inclined towards uplifting the common man “through infrastructural development”.
Meanwhile, NDPP senior vice president (central), Charlie Sekhose asked the party members to play proactive roles so that they may become strategic decision makers in the society.
He informed that Dimapur region will conduct a sports week-cum-get-together for different constituencies sometime later this year.


The executive meeting resolved to re-organise and strengthen NDPP at all levels while “welcoming anyone to the party fold” and work to unite people for the welfare of Nagas in general.
The house deliberated on enrolment and concluded that exclusive effort for enrolment drive would be undertaken without.
It also unanimously affirmed support to Zhaleo Rio in the forthcoming election and to support the party.
Earlier, the meeting was chaired by Khekiho Ayemi, Nungpao offered invocation, NDPP 5 Ghaspani-II A/C president, Dosau Kuotsu gave introductory remarks, followed by report presentation from different organisations of the party while Yekuto Yepthomi offered benediction.
