Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has informed all heads of institutions that the online nominations (2022-2023) INSPIRE (Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research) award-MANAK (Million Minds Augmenting National Aspirations and Knowledge) scheme will resume from July 1 and schools will be able to submit online nominations till September 30.
NBSE has informed that registered schools under INSPIRE award MANAK scheme, in each financial year can nominate 2-3 best ideas from their schools through online mode in the E Management of INSPIRE Award Scheme (E-MIAS) web portal www.inspireawards-dst.gov.in.
In this regard, the board has requested all registered schools to take necessary action.
It may be mentioned that INSPIRE awards-MANAK is a flagship programme implemented by ministry of Science and Technology to instill innovative thinking among school students in the age group of 10-15 years and studying in class VI-X.
The scheme envisages targeting one million original ideas from students studying in more than five lakh middle and high schools across the country and selecting the best ideas which have potential to cater to societal needs and applications.
