NDPP releases poll manifesto

The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) on Saturday released its election manifesto titled “Nagaland towards a State of Excellence.”
The manifesto was released by NDPP president Chingwang Konyak and chief minister Neiphiu Rio in the presence of party leaders. In a statement, NDPP media and communication said that the manifesto was the result of collection of statistics and intensive research by the party members and leaders, committed to building a better future for the people of Nagaland.
NDPP said that the manifesto was also a reflection of the core values of democracy, progress, and inclusivity. “It outlines our vision for the state of Nagaland and presents a clear plan of action to make Nagaland a state of excellence,” NDPP stated.
The party was of the belief that the people of Nagaland deserve a government that works for their welfare, and the manifesto was a roadmap towards achieving that goal.
The manifesto also focuses on a range of issues, including education, healthcare, agriculture, infrastructure, and job creation. It said that these issues were critical to the development of Nagaland and the welfare of its citizens.
NDPP said that through these proposed initiatives, the party aimed to transform Nagaland into a modern, prosperous, and inclusive state.
Some of the key proposals include establishment of world-class educational institutions, the development of a robust healthcare system, the modernization of agriculture and the promo-tion of entrepreneurship, the construction of high-quality infrastructure, and the creation of new job opportunities.
NDPP, therefore, called upon the people of the State to read and engage with their manifesto and provide feedback and suggestions. “We believe that the voice of the people is essential in shaping our vision and plan of action,” NDPP said and exuded confidence that the manifesto would resonate with the people of Nagaland, and would be a key factor in their decision-making process during the upcoming state elections.
“We pledge to work tirelessly towards the realization of our vision and transform Nagaland to a state of excellence,” it added.
