North-East Institute of Social Sciences and Research (NEISSR) in collaboration with Internal Quality Assessment Committee (IQAC) organised a talent show on the theme, “Igniting the Spirit of Love and Harmony” on the occasion of advance Christmas celebration on December 1 at Peace Centre, Chümoukedima.
Guest speaker Rev. Fr. Mathew Thuniampral elucidated on the spiritual aspect of advent season and threw light on the background of Christmas celebrations around the globe. In the season of advent, he urged the students to serve the community with a heart filled with joy and gratitude.
Another guest speaker, Rev. Fr. Chacko also shared valuable insight on the role social workers play in order to transform and heal the issues of the people for their wellbeing.
During the celebration, Jemini C. Jakha delivered the keynote address and explained the meaning of Christmas while NEISSR principal, Rev. Dr. Fr. C.P. Anto Paul exhorted the gathering.
EIS: Students, parents and faculty of Euro International School Chekiye Centre on Friday celebrated Advent Christmas. Various activities were organised for the students during the celebration.
