NFA felicitates Benei M. Lamthiu

Nagaland Football Association (NFA) felicitated its general secretary, Benei M. Lamthiu, MLA who was elected during the recently held Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) election during its annual general body meeting-cum-felicitation programme on May 26 at Hotel Japfii, Kohima.
MLA to the 14th NLA, Benei M. Lamthiu in his speech, thanked the organisation for their warm welcome. He also appreciated K. Neibu Sekhose for his continuous advises and guidance throughout his journey. He thanked the football association, stating that football is a very powerful sports that unites people from all backgrounds and hoped that the people from this association will continue to grow and help each other.
Roko Angami in his greetings mentioned that “Nagaland Football Association (NFA) being the highest echelon of Nagaland Football fraternity has indeed played a remarkable role in nurturing young aspiring talents and has paved a road map for the young generations to follow and for such visionary endeavours.
Roko said that general secretary NFA, Benei M. Lamthiu, was elected as MLA to the 14th NLA and for which, they are all very proud of. He believed Benei’s involvement in the NLA will pave more outcome and opportunities for NFA in setting higher benchmarks and through him, much opportunities would be availed, which will eventually garner and improve the football fraternity of Nagaland from top to bottom and wished him the best.
The proigramme was chaired by NFA vice president, All India Football Federation (AIFF) executive member and NFA president, K. Neibu Sekhose gave a welcome note, invocation was offered by Viposa Kiso, head of referee, Kevingutuo Sekhose shared greetings, special song was presented by Keneisenuo Sorhie and vote of thanks was proposed by Mughato Aye.
