In view of the onset of the dry season, Nagaland Foot Hill Road Coordination Committee (NFHRCC) has appealed to the contractors of the ongoing motorable road construction to ensure that all allocated works are completed at the earliest without compromising the quality of works.
NFHRCC convenor Supu Jamir, co-convenor Hokiye Yepthomi, asst. general secretary Chenithung Humtsoe and secretary W. Lemba Chang also appealed to the respective village councils, as resolved during the last meeting of stakeholders, to extend fullest cooperation to the contractors and the concerned departments till the completion of the works, in the greater interest of the people.
The committee also acknowledged the chief minister, advisor Roads & Bridges and R&B department for the releasing the running bills for ongoing works.
Further, Nagaland Foot Hill Road Coordination Committee (NFHRCC) lauded Young Naga Action Committee on Foothills Road for showing their maturity and serving an ultimatum on the concerned department pertaining to release running bills to contractors based on performance.
