NNC demands justice or Oting victims

Naga National Council (Parent Body) has once again reiterated its stand to support the Eastern Naga People’s Organization (ENPO) in their pursuit for justice of the Oting massacre by the Para Special Force on December 4, 2021.
In a press note, NNC information & publicity wing, expressed regret that till date there has been no justice for the families of the victims, who have been grieving for the last one year.
Despite committing such heinous crime and despite protests/condemnations, NNC (PB) said that the government of India has turned a blind eye and deaf ear to the demands by the people of North East and from around the world or justice and to repeal the Armed Forces Special Power Act (AFSPA).
Therefore, NNC said it was an insult to all the people who stood against the killing of innocent lives, and voiced for justice for the past one year. NNC alleged that this was “an intentional crime against the people and humanity at large by the so called largest and biggest democracy India.”
