Naga National Council (Parent Body) has appealed to all the political groups and leaders to come forward for “Naga national unity” for political solution. NNC (PB) through its information & publicity wing stated that the group had serious deliberation on the Naga political issues confronting “all the National workers at present and the people in the Homeland at this critical juncture”.
It stated that political differences in ideologies, stands and approaches towards political solution were immensely affecting all in the homeland, adding that it would be dangerous also “if it goes wrong at this critical and sensitive point for the Naga people.” NNC (PB) has, therefore, appealed to all the Naga national workers and groups to sit across the table and thrash out all the differences and obstacles facing the leaders, and to bring about “an honourable, acceptable and concrete political solution” for peace and prosperity in the region. “This is the only way forward to bring political solution in the Homeland…” NNC (PB) stated.
The group has requested the Naga Club, Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) and Global Naga Forum (GNF) to jointly initiate and bring all the groups and leaders across the table for talk in the best interest of all the people and peace in the homeland.
