Department of Agriculture, Noklak organized a training on Integrated Pest Management at Wonthoi Village on April 24. The resource persons of the training were Mongyon (A.F.A) and Cholen (A.O).
District Agriculture Officer, Noklak, Dr. Lanunochetla informed that at the training programme, farmers were highlighted on the importance of Rodent Pest Management, effective control measures to prevent outbreak of rodents and also identification of natural predators that rely on rodents pest as a food source.
Altogether, 30 farmers attended the programme and Kharif seeds were distributed to the farmers.
