Nagaland Rural Development Service Association (NRDSA) held its general conference Saturday at the Conference Hall of Rural Development (RD) Kohima, wherein members were encouraged to be sincere and make positive impact in the lives of the rural people.
A press release by RD Kohima stated that in an address at the inaugural programme, RD director, Azenuo Pienyu reminded the members that everyone held an important position in the department and asked them to take up their roles and responsibilities sincerely to uplift the department and to make positive impact in the lives of the rural people.
The director also called upon the members to retrospect and have the conscience to do good and make the best use of their time as an officer and to leave footprints for their successors to emulate. Pienyu, who is also the advisor of NRDSA, lauded the president of NRDSA and his colleagues for successfully organising the conference and also congratulated the new team of office bearers on behalf of the department of RD.
Speeches were also delivered by RD joint director, Achila Quinker, on behalf of outgoing office bearers, president NRDSA, Kupto Achumi on behalf of new office bearers and Seyiekhrielie Rio, convenor-FANBAR (Forum of all Nagaland BDO, APO & RDO). A new team of NRDSA was elected to be headed by Kupto Achumi as president and Vihesanuo Solo as general secretary for the tenure 2023-2026.
