NSCN/GPRN Eastern Region observes ‘R-Day’

NSCN/GPRN (Akato Chophi) Eastern Naga Region under the aegis of Konyak Region observed the “Naga Republic Day” on March 21, with the attendance of dignitaries from various local bodies, councils and representatives from some CSOs.
MIP of NSCN/GPRN informed that the capt. Wanglam evoked God’s blessings followed by welcome address by Brig.Mongnyei of Eastern Command.
Short speech was delivered by Dy.Kilonser (Home) Chingten, while Tatar Temzei proposed the vote of thanks.
The programme was led by Tatar Aton Wangnao, who also presented the “Presidential Speech” of Akato Chophi, followed by mass benediction.
Meanwhile, a small thanksgiving programme was also observed at Thahekhu Villlage, led by Wankei Konyak Dy.Kilonser MRA (Ministry of Religious Affairs) followed by silent prayers, dedicating to the fallen comrades. Kilo Kilonser, Nokrang Lanu Aier delivered the “Presidential Speech” followed by vote of thanks.
