NSCN/GPRN extend Tokhu Emong greetings

NSCN/GPRN (Akato Chophi) conveyed greetings to the Lotha community on occasion of Tokhu Emong, a post-harvest festival of the Lothas.

A press release by NSCN/GPRN through its MIP stated that Tokhu in Lotha means “feast” and “Emong” means “rest”, which is celebrated to signify the end of harvest season and people rejuvenate themselves after tremendous hard work in the fields.

The release added that Lothas were one of the advanced Naga tribe known for their hard work, dedication and sincerity. NSCN expressed the hope that with those qualities, Lotha brothers and sisters would continue to shine and be an inspiration to others.
