NSCN (I-M) hits out at Dr. Jamir

NSCN (I-M) has once again criticized Dr. SC Jamir and appealed to the Central government, which was sincerely interested to solve the intricate Naga political issue, to avoid hobnobbing with a person who no longer represented the voice of Naga people.
NSCN (I-M) through its MIP said that SC Jamir had “proved himself as cunning, scheming and devious man” by putting himself at the centre of the show in the past and was now desperately attempting to place himself in the same role that was rejected and condemned by Nagas after he messed up the Naga issue by bringing the 16-Point Agreement without consulting the stakeholders (Naga national workers) who really mattered at that particular point of time.
Mentioning that the bloodshed and killings that followed the 16 Point Agreement was were matter of historical records, MIP alleged that all the discords and factional clashes were rooted in this anti-Naga divisive agreement with Jamir as one of the architects.
It accused him of having denied Jawaharlal Nehru from meeting AZ. Phizo, adding that it was Nehru who had sensed something missing in 16 Point Agreement that could ultimately obstruct Naga solution.
