NSSB issue: ENSF to proceed with ‘further course of action’

Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF), which held a crucial meeting with its seven federating units, Eastern Nagaland People’s Organisation, Eastern Nagaland Women Organization, ENSF advisors, legal advisors and Eastern intellectuals, in Kohima on April 8, has unanimously resolved to proceed with “further course of action”.
The meeting was held after the federation received a “stone cold response” from Personnel & Administrative Reforms (P&AR) department in response to its 30-day ultimatum on the state government to fulfil its charter of demands, which included inclusion of exempted departments and posts under Nagaland Staff Selection Board (NSSB) Regulation, 2020.
In a press release, ENSF president Chingmak Chang and general secretary Khomo P stated that the house, after threadbare discussion on the present content of NSSB Regulation, unanimously resolved to proceed with “further course of action until such exempted departments and posts are incorporated.”
