Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, IAS, Mohammed Ali Shihab A, also the Electoral Roll Observer for Tuensang, Noklak and Shamator district visited Shamator district on November 23 to oversee the ongoing Special Summary Revision of the Electoral Roll.
According to a DIPR report, chairing a comprehensive review meeting at the DC Conference Hall Shamator, key stakeholders, including Deputy Commissioner, ERO, AERO, and political party representatives, discussed the process. Emphasis was placed on ensuring that eligible voters are not overlooked, using January 1, 2024, as the qualifying date.
Following the meeting, the Electoral Roll Observer, accompanied by administrative officers, conducted on-site visits to Polling Stations 7 and 8 under the 58 Shamator-Chessore Assembly Constituency.
