OctaNE, a cluster of eight Centre of Entrepreneurship (CoE) in the Northeast has invited applications from the Startups/ Entrepreneurs for Open challenge Program (OCP), a platform where a Start-up gets an opportunity to get selected for CoE’s.
The objective of Open Challenge Program (OCP) was to identity, recognize & reward aspiring and early-stage tech entrepreneurs. The last date of entry will be September 30.
The challenge enables solving problems through innovative solutions across domains like IoT in Agriculture, Animation, Emerging Tech-AR/VR, IT Applications in Graphic Design, Gaming & Entertainment, Data Analytics & AI, IT Applications in Healthcare & Agritech and GIS Applications (incl. Drone Technology).
Speaking to media person at Hotel Vivor, STPI Northeastern state’s jurisdictional director Vandana Srivastava called upon all Start-ups working in the field of IT/Electronics, Students, Professionals in the field of IT/Electronics, Central government, State government, Private bodies through procurement of solutions focused on local problems through emerging technologies.
She informed that till now 4 starts-up, came forward with their ideas had been processed and if selected they will be receive direct funding of Rs.25 lakh. She therefore invited all the IT enthusiasts to come forward with their start up ideas and get funding.
She said to realize the vision of Digital North East 2022 into firm action plan for each of the North East States, STPI has set up Centre of Entrepreneurship and Startup Innovation Zone in each of the state of North East India in phase-wise manner.
Additional Director and Officer In Charge of STPI Kohima, Abhishek Mishra informed that STPI plays a crucial role in incubating startups and small and medium-sized IT companies and provide them with a nurturing environment, mentoring, and support to help them grow and become globally competitive.
He invited all the IT enthusiast to visit their incubation centre which has been equipped with the latest and best technology stuffs and digital electronics .
