Open Nagaland Ping Pong Championship


Northeast India Academy of Performing Arts (NIAPA) would be organising the second edition of Open Nagaland Ping Pong Championship on November 28 and 29, 2022, at K. Kire Indoor Stadium, NAP Training Centre, Chümoukedima.
Besides top Naga players, some renowned players from the neighbouring states have also confirmed their participation.
The event is slated to be one of the biggest table tennis tournaments in the North East region as players from Assam, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram will also be taking part in the championship.
One of the top players is India Junior Rank no 8. Jeho Himnakulhpuingheta, from Mizoram will also be arriving in Nagaland to participate in the championship. Himnakulhpuingheta was the men’s champion in the recently concluded 16th Memorial Mirko Abramovich Championship in Croatia.
Another renowned player is India under 17 Rank no 18, 2021 rankings, Kshetrimayum Segal Singh from Manipur will also take part in the tournament.
