A one -day orientation on professionalism and empowerment of Teachers was held on May 28 at VDB Hall, Dzulha village under Phek district.
The programme was conducted under the three themes: “Search for Your Meaning, Know Your Profession, Know Your Powers” organized by Pick A book Nagaland.
At the programme, resource person, SCERT, Nagaland professor Dr.Zavise Rume spoke on the topic ‘Basic skills of teaching’ and ‘Professional code of ethics for Teachers’. Another resource person, Khovelu Naroh, a teacher, spoke on the topic ‘Strategies of teaching language and role of teachers in language development’.
Vezito Tetseo, Founder, Pick A Book Nagaland was the facilitator of the orientation programme.
Earlier, pastor CRC, Dzülha invoked God’s blessing for the programme and Dütsonyi Keyho, pastor Dzülha Baptist Church said the benediction.
