About 110 delegates are expected to participate in the G20 events at Kohima on April 5, of which about 100 would be from 28 G20 countries and the remaining from international organisations that are part of the grouping, a DIPR report stated.
Nagaland chief secretary J Alam said that business delegates from big continental corporations, ambassadors and other senior representatives of G20 countries would be attending the meeting and would be arriving on special flights on April 4.

On April 4, a programme would be held at the Capital Cultural Hall, Kohima where the delegates would be accorded a formal welcome, followed by business meetings at the State Banquet Hall the next day.
A cultural evening and dinner would be organised at Kisama Naga Heritage Village where the Hornbill Festival would be showcased for the guests.
Claiming that the State government was fully prepared and all set to host the G20 event at Kohima, he mentioned that India’s year-long presidency of G20, which began in December 2022, was a matter of great honour for the country.
