PAGBU asks political parties to adhere to MCC

Pathso Area GB’s Union (PAGBU) has directed all the political parties to adhere to the election model code of conduct (MCC) and KTC’s directive for peaceful conduct of election under its jurisdiction in the ensuing assembly election 2023. In a press release, the union president Lushia and finance secretary, GB Sunie asked all political parties or agents to refrain from making hate speech; ensure free and fair movement of all political parties and to restrain from incitement of violence and physical abuse. The union further warned that any political parties violating these guidelines under Pathso range shall be called for explanation.
