PBCC Youth Convention cum music fest culminates

The Youth 44th convention-cum-music fest of the Pesocha Baptist Church Council (PBCC) held under the theme “You are my witness” (Isaiah 43:10) hosted by Nerhema Baptist Church under Kohima culminated on Sunday.
In the morning session, pastor, Khedi Baptist Church, Dr. Ruokuovilie Sachü was the speaker and stated that God’s purpose for the Christians was not to be ambassadors or have monopoly over others culturally, socially, politically but to be the light of the world for the good news of Christ. Greetings was delivered by Hetuo Khrodi, travelling pastor PBCC, choral pieces were presented by Nerhema Baptist Church and Chiechama Baptist Church, special song was presented by Chüziema Baptist Church, while Tuophema Baptist Church staged a drama. The programme was led by Khrieneituo Kense and a new team of PBCC youth was elected to be led by Neikielie Rupreo from Chiechama as the president alongwith others.
The new team was announced by search committee convenor, Seyiekhrietuo Sekhose and dedicatory prayer was offered by Rev Dr Gelhou Seyie, pastor Touphema Baptist Church.
A total of 1140 delegates registered for the programme from 24 churches. The next convention will be hosted by Botsa Baptist Church in 2025.
