A capacity building training on Operation and Maintenance (O&M) and Social Behaviour Change Communication (SBCC) with Village Council Executives, Water and Sanitation (WATSAN) Committee Chairman and Secretary, Field Testing Kit (FTK) users, Swachhagrahis etc., was organised by the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) Kohima on October 31 at the Conference Hall, PHED Kohima Urban Division.
A press release by the department stated that executive engineer, PHED, Kohima Urban Division, Er. Neilhoukholie Chielie appealed to the village councils, WATSAN and all others, working in the field of water and sanitation to wholeheartedly participate, even in the days to come, to ensure the success of programmes.
Resource persons, SDO, PHED, Kohima Urban Division Er. Keneisevi Meyase spoke on O&M and Faecal Sludge Management (FSM) while JE, PHED, Kohima Urban Division Er. Vilhoutuo Kruse, dwelt on solid waste management at household level.
District Coordinator, PHED, Kohima division, Ashale Seb shared insights on “Role of FTK users cum Swachhagrahis, and SBCC was deliberated on by IEC and WASH consultant, PHED, Kohima Urban Division, Vibou Seyie.
