Phek DPDB discusses ULB and CMHIS

Phek District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) monthly meeting was held on March 17 at the Conference Hall of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Phek office, wherein the members deliberated on the ensuing Urban Local Body (ULB) elections, and enrolment to Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS).
According to a DIPR report, DC Phek, Kumar Ramnikant, who is also the vice chairman of DPDB Phek, acknowledged the members and the staff for their cooperation during the recently concluded 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly election. He also informed the members on the forthcoming ULB election.
The house also discussed the CMHIS, in which Ramnikant encouraged the members for necessary action to ensure 100% registration of employees at the earliest.
He also informed the members on the scheduled meeting of the District Development Co-ordination & Monitoring Committee to be held under the chairmanship of Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), Tokheho Yepthomi on April 11.
In regard to the meeting, he reminded the Department of Food & Civil Supplies, Road & Bridges, National Highways, Social Welfare, Power, Agriculture, Health and Family Welfare, Education, Public Health Engineering Department and Rural Development to give detailed presentations at the meeting.
The Department of Evaluation and Legal Metrology & Consumer Protection presented the departmental activities during the meeting, wherein responsibilities and functions were highlighted. The Department of School Education was entrusted to present a presentation in the next DPDB meeting.
