Phekmi Welfare Union Kohima organises seminar in Kohima

One day seminar on “promotion of economic, education and sports sector” was organised by the Phekmi Welfare Union Kohima (PWUK) on October 28 at Forest Colony Community Hall, Kohima.


A press release by PWUK stated that delivering the greetings, Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu, MLA, encouraged the students to develop competitive spirit, to be on the right track and accomplish their goals.


He also encouraged the students to be among the “best of the best” and walk the extra mile to excel in life. Resource persons of the seminar, CEO, Entrepreneurs Associates, Neichute Doulo, additional deputy commissioner, Atoizu, Zunheboto, Niikutulii S. Venuh, and silver medallist, National Belt Wrestling Championship, Surhoneyi Soho spoke on “Livelihood, Self employment and Entrepreneurship”, “Fostering the spirit of competitiveness”, and “Be sports professional through physical fitness” respectively.


The sessions of the seminar were led by Shevoduyi Venuh, Zhohuve Venuh, Rukuvolu Hoshi and Vikedu Nienu; CCHE assistant professor, Hukuyi Venuh was the seminar coordinator, and Chakhesang Baptist Church Ministers’ Hill Kohima deaconess, Khrusatalii Soho and Capital College of Higher Education (CCHE) Kohima principal, Khrusatalii Soho pronounced opening and closing prayers respectively.
