Photography Club Zunheboto launched

A group of photographers and photo enthusiasts from Zunheboto got together and launched the Photography Club Zünheboto (PCZ) on Wednesday. The club was launched at a programme held at heritage conference hall Zunheboto with I. Nikheto Jimomi, president Sumi Hoho as the special guest.
Addressing the members, the Sumi Hoho president expressed his admiration for photography and how images and pictures reflect the heart and soul of humans and nature. Jimomi encouraged the PCZ to use their talent that God has gifted them and said that he was optimistic that the members will be able to contribute to the society through photography.
PCZ president, Hokato Yeputhomi, while delivering the presidential address said that the club comprising of 19 dynamic, energetic and creative members decided to give recognition to their profession, initiated for formation of the club to mark a stepping stone for those who would follow this footprint in the field of photography. He sought the help and support of the civil society organizations in all aspects for the club to join hands with the groups for betterment and upliftment of the society. Earlier the program was chaired by Nilokili Kiba. The launch programme began with an invocation by Itokato Chophi Assoc. Pastor SBCZ, special number by Naga Kheks, vote of thanks by Tunato Achumi general secretary.
Representatives from the Sumi Hoho, Sumi Kukami Hoho, Sumi Totomi Hoho, Zunheboto Town GB’s Association, Zunheboto District Cricket Association, Eastern Sumi Students’ Union and Saptiqa Area Students’ Union attended the launching programme.
