Power shutdown in parts of Dimapur

Power department has informed that there would be shutdown of power supply in and around Dimapur town in a phased manner from 3am to 8am starting August 1-18, 2022.
In a press release, Dimapur electrical division executive engineer Er.Y Akito Sema informed that the proposed power supply shutdown was being necessitated as the department would be carrying out maintenance work for shifting of existing 11 kV lines as well as LT lines to the newly constructed trunk lines.
As per the proposed shutdown programme, the main areas under 11kv Duncan feeder from DC Court Jn. to SSI would be affected on August 1; areas under 11kv Notun basti feeder including NMM Road, Duncan Area would be affected on August 2 & 3 and August 15 & 16; areas under 11kv Rajbari feeder including Supermarket Area, Walford, Imkonglenden and Bank Colony would be affected on August 4; areas under 11kv Nagarjan & Kuda feeder including Half Nagarjan, KK Colony, United Colony, D Colony and Mao Colony would be affected on August 5 & 6; Duncan area under 11kv RKM feeder would be affected on August 8 & 9; Don Bosco area under 11kv Notun Basti area would be affected on August 10 & 11 and areas under 11kv Nagarjan feeder including Half Nagarjan Area, KK Colony, United Colony, D Colony would be affected on August 12 & 13 and August 17 & 18.
Further, the department informed that notice will be updated from time to time and requested consumers to keep note of the timing.
